After the one-week discovery trip in limestone mountains forest in Phong Nha – Ke Bang (Quang Binh), the group of British Caving Association has discovered new seven grottoes.
Group leader, Dr. Howard Limbert said: these seven grottoes locate in two different paths named Dai Ai and Dai Cao, where there are not much people passing by. Some of the grottoes have got names such as: Con Chay grotto, Gio grotto (wind grotto), Hai Cua grotto (two gates grottoes), Ky grotto, etc.
According to the description of the group, these seven grottoes are beautiful and magnificent. The lengths of them are still under researching.
Dr. Howard Limbert also said that among the seven new discovered grottoes, there is one grotto in Dai Cao route, therefore, they have to leave it unfinished, because its depth is more than 100m with fast flowing of water and there must be something to support.
